Chicago Sports Fan Perspective
Chicago BEARS Football Season
In Chicagoland we look forward to the BEARS football season all summer. By October we wonder why, but we still watch - and hope. Sometimes we are rewarded with a few good wins.
And A Few Good WINS We Got Too!
Thanks, Bears! for playing your heart out these last 2 games. You proved you have hootspa for sure. Now it's Lovey and friends turn to decide on a QB for next year. Actually, Orton didn't look bad. We can't wait to see Devin Hester next year!
Does Early Lackluster Performance End Chances for This Season?
Probably, but Boy, did they turn it around against Colorado! Hester certainly made up for his early flub! Hot/cold QB problems persist, but looks like Lovey will stick with Grossman.
Well, nobody really expects the Bears to win every game left to get a Wildcard spot. We will keep watching though...
Bears vs Eagles: - About Time We Got a Break!
Whew - that was close! Did we deserve that win? - I think so. Griese completed a few and there was some celebrating!
Bears vs Vikings: Aww, Geez - Bears Tied at Halftime, Fell Behind, Caught Back Up - Only to Lose by 3 in the Last Play...
But, WHAT a 4th Quarter! - I do like Hester! Seems Griese wasn't as shy near the end. Too bad longfoot, or whatever his name is, made his record longest kick in the last moments of the game. Vikings did a good job in that game; I'll give 'em that. Now come on Bears. Gotta shake this off.
Bears vs Packers: Braggin' rights were OURS! I live 10 miles from the Wisconsin border. We see fans of both Packers and Bears around here in team clothing - especially around game time. Packers fans are as vocal as us Bears fans. Some like a little verbal exchange now and then. It never gets outta line (since I'm an old lady). It's just fun. Well, we sure got our bragging rights back in the 4th quarter. Poor Brett, had a bad day?
